Exclamation 1990 735il

I noticed that its hard, to get lowering springs/shock for the 735il with the bmw having self leveling shocks , but is it possible to install the lowering springs on to the self leveling shocks?

M5's are the same way.
It is possible, however, you stress them out, and they wil fail sooner(if they already haven't).
They just aren't designed to work with a shorter spring, so it also hinders the handling characteristics a little bit too.

There are lowering springs for the self leveling but the replacement costs for the shocks are retarded.

You can either do H&R Springs and Bilsteins or H&R Springs with OEM. You can adjust the self leveling by a connecting rod in the back to prevent the rear end from constantly being on.
