Boost guru's, a few questions

I'm starting to piece together an entry level boost kit, and I plan on using the OBX turbo manifold off fleabay. Has anyone tried using the K03s from a mk4 1.8t with success? I can get my hands on one with a FMIC for a pretty reasonable price...

BTW I'm putting the kit on a 91 e30 m42 (in case the name didn't give it away) thanks guys
