I've heard most insurance companies wont let you use whatever shop you want? Is this true?

I really want to go to European.

Find out if the car is a write off or not. If it is then you can buy the car back at a reduced rate, then part it out. If it is not a write off then you can have them issue you a check for the amount of damage they assess your car to have and bring it into the shop of your choice. You should get an ambulance chaser if you injured and see how it goes.. good luck

buying the car back at a reduced rate means....they will approximate the value of your car by taking the average resale value of your car. say $5K then you tell them you want the car and they'll reduce the check you get back to say $4k

When I had my rear end accident I was told the shop I took it to is my choice, and frankly it should be. Convince them European is the ONLY place you trust (which quite frankly IS the only place I trust).

I agree , European autobody!!!

If the car is a write off, would you sell me your front bumper and mouldings?

Im sure its not that bad, and fixable, but it could get written off due to age and value + cost of repair.

I am really sorry man, your car is a nice one!

If it's a write off, you'll see a part out thread in the future.

I'd most likely keep the rims and exhaust. We'll see.

This is a awesome shop. Always see ///M's outside their shop.
Definitely worth checking out if European doesn't work out

I'll keep those two shops in mind for sure. If it's getting fixed it needs to be perfect.

My bet is that the chassis is ****ed though.

I can't wait to get this over with. I'm so anxious, but everything moves so slow lol.

I had a new Camry for yesterday. They're bringing a BMW to my house today to switch. So maybe I'll bring it to the cruise
