For Sale: 1997 328is
121,000km – asking $10,000
Reasons for selling: Have a growing family, bought an X5, no room to keep it.
History: I bought this E36 as the second owner in spring 2004 from Parkview BMW with 68,000 km on it. The first owner was in his early 50’s, he had just traded it in for an M5. It’s been garage covered when not driven all it’s time with me. I have driven it in the winter, but it has been sprayed with corrosion protection before winter on every 2nd year. The car was not driven daily, I used public transit to get to work, thus the low mileage. She has next to no rust on it, and the paint has some incredible shine to it especially when waxed properly, *note the car has not been waxed for the pictures. I have hardly driven the car since January, it only has fire and theft on it. I do take it out for the occasional spin around the block only, so that it remains in good running order. The car did get new paint at some point before I bought it, reason I was told was that the owner did not like the fact that paint looked faded. There is no sign of fading paint currently on this car. I’ve moded the engine/drivetrain with some key M3 parts, and achieved increased power and smooth delivery of an estimated 200+ horses. The car is ready for suspension upgrades; I didn’t do any because I occasionally drove it in the winter. Also I did not add any body kit components; I wanted to get her running quick first. And also I did not upgrade the rims, just bought good summer tires. She runs beautifully, handles tight, straight alignment, engine purrs, she’s never been tracked, just a nice example of an iconic German design.
Performance Mods: All installed by reputable BMW specialists and maXbimmer sponsors RMP Motors.

The driver's side view mirror has rust behind it. To be clear there is no rust on the mirror housing, I'm talking about the actual mirror itself, along the bottom, behind the suface of the mirror there are small spots.
She was never dyno'd. The software is designed by the developer to work specifically with the current set-up. The developer of the engine tunning software can be reached here: http://www.dsylva-tech.ca/
