Thanks for the kind words ( and rim advice) . The rims will stay as they were cheap and they are here. Once I sell my Corrado I'll see about some more "BMW-acceptable" ones, although i think they look O.K.

Cars looking good.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but if there is over spray in the rear wheel wells, you might want to consider spray some black rubber undercoat in there.

It will dress up and protect it. Careful though, you want to make sure you don't spray the body (tape it up).

Where did you paint the car?

Running !!( kinda)

The distributor was absolutely cooked so i popped the pertronix and blue coil that I bought for the '72 on. Siphoned as much of the old gas out as i could ( the '72 has a drain plug in th gas tank) then toppedd it up with 94 and swung the key It started !! And ran !! Then quit ! It wasn't a fuel kind of quit but more of an electrical cut. Got it restarted a couple of more times then the rain came. All i all a great start! engine sounded nice and tight and there was no smoke so two thumbs up !!
