O sorry Jay, I misunderstood.
Yes, the older Generation (~90-94) had a Turbo model, then they got rid of it in NA and used the 2.5L.

This one's got ~228K or something like that. From what I am gathering though, it is nothing, just gotta stay on top of oil changes and avoid overheating(As with any car).

The older Legacy I owned last year, was a 2.2L, had like 280K and the motor ran like a top and I BEAT the shit out of it and didn't do a single oil change just added oil, LOL

WTF?
ok tone down the disrespect... seems like you are sensitive about the cost because you overpaid, but don't worry you're not a special snowflake and no one will care within 10 seconds of finding out.

It has nothing to do with feeling special. If you don't care, why ask? Asking "how much" when it has no concern to you is a pet peeve of mine.
All the people that have asked me in person that are close to me, I have disclosed the price.
Believe me, I didn't overpay, far from it, and even if I did, what's it to you? This is not a for sale thread.

You are a real douche on the internet, you know that?

The floors, rockers, etc are solid, some rust on the front door edge and rear fender corner on one side. For the price, all the new parts installed, I couldn't complain.

My wife had a similar car. A 98 Brighton (stripped down) wagon.

Its not true AWD, its drivers front and passenger rear. No LSD or any kind of lock on the manual transmission cars.

Keep that in mind if you are going to dirt road the car.

Welcome to the world of Subaru's. I picked one up over a year ago and I love it, get some narrow and aggressive winter tires, make some mudflaps, toss on light bar with some pencil beams and you're good to go. I'll hopefully have a bar and light setup (and maybe skid plate) before the winter. My advice, if it doesn't have a rear LSD, find one. Mine doesn't and it times it can suck, especially cornering (basically 2WD, one front, one back). I know this isn't your first 4WD vehicle so I'm not going to warn you how different it is compared to rwd to get a nice drift
