Winter Beater/Rally Project/AWDFun

So I've been looking for a winter car, something that would pop up cheap and I would have a 4-6mths to get up to snuff. That would avoid last minute rush looking for a AWD beater when everyone else is and I am strapped for time, resulting in me getting something just because I have to(kind of like last year).

The Criteria was 1) 5spd, 2) 5spd, 3) AWD, 4)Preferably Sedan.

I introduce the 1999 Subaru Legacy L AWD 5spd. GT Front Bumper, Fully loaded, CD player, and working AC(too bad I don't like AC and will be driving this in the winter.).
Everything is top notch, needs Clutch as it slips, and 2 rust spots to tend to.

Plans For budget mods:
-Paint the 5 spoke rims Gold
-Intake
-Exhaust
-Yellow Foglights
-HID's
-Mudflaps.
-Stickers???

BEST THING and Reason Why this fit the bill:

You can use the AC has a defogger. It sucks that the majority of the people want automatic transmission. I don't care what the car is, having a slushbox really blows.

^Very true. It was my main requirement.
Can't wait to hit the dirt/gravel roads with it.

Hahhahaha, you know me and my crazy antics! See, now I have some time to get 'er done.

If you have the lift stuff, I want it for sure!

I can also use Forrester springs to lift it 2". I;ve been doing research lol
Don;t know if I want to do that, but the spacers will be coool.

^^^Yes they did. the 2.5GT Terry I've been looking for one of these for a while now! I've wanted a legacy gt wagon white on black 5spd for the longest time. But soooo hard to find! if i can get my hands on one, will be hitting up some gravel!

( Although the audi would be a great candidate for this, Im affraid of breaking! lol)

Hey Jay, this is not a GT, it just has the GT front bumper and is fully loaded. The reason I tried to avoid the GT or Outbacks, is because they have tons of Headgasket problems. THis is a 2.2L.

I just picked up some sideskirts for it from a 2007 Outback as well as some projector foglights to put in the stock location, and new leather shift knob and boot. Also gonna debaffle it, picked up the intake boot from a Impreza so one of the two air boxes is gone!

I just joined the local subaru club, would like to get out with them to some gravel roads for sure.
