you can get a Toyota for 0.9% financing, wait until the 09 models are basically on clearance, but you can definitely do it. Get a Corolla, such an awesome, reliable DD, best in its class on gas and has terrific resale.

The Corolla's were on clearance for 0%/36mo but I never saw them at 0.9/60mo. I think that I've made up my mind, 5-spd Escape or I'm gonna wait until the 2010 Fusion goes to 0% in a few months.

Escape 5-speed is a solid choice, but keep in mind you'll be using 40-60% more fuel than the other choices. Since you're using it for long trips, when gas prices swing up again you'll be spending a lot more.

get the Fusion or the Civic if you really can't get a Toyota. It'll be cheaper to afford for fuel.

Yeah my dad just got a sales job at Ford, so I guess it will be a Ford for me . I would really love to get the Escape 5-spd. The base manual ones have a $5000 discount but I'm not sure if they're 0% like the rest. If not then I'm going to wait until the 2010 Fusion drops to 0% or maybe just settle for a Focus.

How long do you plan on keeping that car? Basically everyone covers their cars for at least 5 years now.
