Lamin-x on my Fogs...
So I finally 'installed' (stuck on LOL) the yellow lamin-x on my fogs...
BUT...
They have a little bit of fogginess to them (that the instructions warned about and said go away in a few days)... Has any one else experienced this? Does all of the murkiness actually go away?
Also, they are not as yellow as I expected them to be when the light shines through. I was thinking of getting yellow bulbs as well... Has anyone else done that?
x, Stephanie

Get those 3000K Nokya bulbs I told you about. I'll look up the store info from where I got mine in a bit. At $40 bucks (or so), it's worth a shot.

yup, that should go away after sitting in the sun for a few days. We did this to my bros old 328is 2 years ago and we applied it so bad it looked like the car had acne! but the material is breathable so it all went away after 1-2 weeks...
Also, i'd get the yellow bulbs as Anuk was saying, i got 2 sets from the autoshow for like 10-20$ ...

Stepg, go to pacific mall, and get yellow Nokyan bulbs there. They are $25 a set. Also, the yellow murkiness DOES go away

Will go away. I did the thick clear on the STi and it took about a week. Seriously though, unless you're going for that JDM look, do Nokya yellow bulb instead. I've gone cheaper yellow, but the Nokya seem to last forever while cheapies crap out in months (daily use).

You made me think back to my experiences, and I realized that I'm a lamin-x whore.
E30: Smoked on the front signals and all 4 sidemarkers. Clear on the headlights and foglights.
E36: Clear on headlights, yellow on foglights.
When you don't do it all at once you fail to realize the addiction. Like street drugs.
But yes, the weird haziness effect does go away after a few days. Kind of like the street drugs...

I found noyka bulbs to run really hot almost to the point of burning out the harnesses.. I immediately took them out of my car.
Really bad quality, not to mention they do burn out quickly.
At $40 bucks a pop it makes sense to just get 3k hid kit.
or try and find the euro osram lights.

Just bumping up an old thread. The Lamin-x on the STi has started to develop burn spots. Any issues on yours?
