Holset HX35 vs Turbonetics t3/t4
Just wanted to post this comparison pic I took. Has anyone ever tried running an hx35 on their e36. I will be running the Turbonetics and it seems tight, just wondering how big maxbimmer people have gone with bottom mount setup.

the hx35 has been done, search around bimmer forums for the build thread. the biggest bottom mount turbo i've seen is a gt40 with a boost logic manifold.

Thanks for the reply. I realize gt40 and hx35 have been done. I was just wondering if any of the ontario area maxbimmer members have done it.

Yea thats a tial 38mm but its welded on the exhaust flange, not the housing. I'm going to use the turbonetics. It has a .63 hot side while the hx35 has been put on my friends talon with a .58 dsm hot side.

Speaking of Talon's...Do I ever wish there was a bmw program like dsm link, that software is so user friendly!
