Just to get an idea of recent E30 perchases in my family: I just paid $4500 for a bone stock freshly painted E30 318is with 264K. Two years ago I we paid $3300 for a red 1992 E30 318i cabrio with 212K.

Again, two years ago we paid $7500 for a white 1989 325i, bone stock with only 72,000kms on it. The car is still in mint condition... no stone chips, no frosting of the headlights or fogs. Everthing works perfectly. Perfect interior. Zero rust. Finding an absolutely MINT bone stock 20 year old E30 with under 100kms is worth $7500.

If all your is clean and the engine is still strong, I'd figure that $5-6K would be reasonable, but all the best of luck getting $8K. It just takes the right person at the right time.

Ok, now lets see. You do get a mint e30 with under 100k on it and as we all know alot of things go bad on these cars at a 100k mark. Now you are better of getting one with over 200k where all these parts have been replaced already.
Then obviously you would want to lower it, that's another 2k on top for a full suspension set up unless you going the cheap way. You always get what you pay for. Then you have to do the timing belt, water pump, tensioner and all the rest of the maintenance that actually have been done on my car.

As i said, i can work out the price with a buyer if he doesn't want some parts that are installed on the car.

^ No way. Even if the car was not driven, the parts need to be changed over the time period span. Just like T-belt/WP, no matter what it has to be changed after 5 years despite the mileage on M20 engines. Also many other parts follow the same. If that was true what you are saying, the cars would be the best investment.

Jesus christ people, just because you got a great deal two years ago does NOT dictate market rate at this point in time! Even less so does it dictate how much someone can ASK for a car. If someone who wants a car with these mods was to buy and build a mint e30, it would be more than $8K, so the right buyer will pay this.

If you're not the right buyer *or not a buyer at all* then just STFU. I'm so sick of all the expert appraisers on the internet who've obviously forgotten first year finance.

Wether the car has less that 100k or over 200k, parts are going to need changing either way, of course. Give me a E30 with under 100k over a 200k+ car anyday of the year. Proper maintanence has been done to our -100k E30... water pump, T/B, accessory belts, hoses, thermostat, tires (came with original tires) etc. Nothing is spared on that car.

Assuming that work has been done to your car within the last few years/kms like you said, it may very well be worth 8g's with all the tuner parts. For sure. Why not. By no means, though, are you better off getting a 200k+ car than a -100k car. Gimme a break.

+ ****ing one.

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, and there are a lot of people out there willing to pay good money for these cars. You guys are not the target market for this obviously.
