WTB: e30 Wheels and tires

I'm looking for a set of e30 wheels for my '89 ix to replace my 14" bottle caps. Would prefer a 15 inch wheel, but might be persuaded to go 16 inch.

Stock or aftermarket... I like basket weaves (14") but I also like simple designs like a nice 5 spoke.

My budget is in the $500 range or so. Does anyone have anything for sale??

I think he's firm on that price, but I will ask him next time I talk with him, since he is out of the country at the moment. The rims are currently in my possession though, so they are available for viewing any time.

I'm not exactly sure to be honest, but I was under the impression that they were optional wheels towards the end of the e30's production life. The earliest BMW Accessories catalog I have is only '92, and it has those wheels in it, for e30, e34 and e36 fitment.

These are the caps. Almost a flat cap, snaps on.

I remember the e30 catalog and only recall seeing the different bbs basket weave color combinations. there was factory silver, gold, and black. but I also saw some off shoot colors like bronzit being sold in Europe; so it's hard to say if those were available here.
