yes i have seen them..i see them downtown one time..and then in the midwest(ohio) wit a navigator wit them pullin a mercedes(dunno the model) and it had them too... www.davinwheels.com (<-----i think) there the orginal spinnin rims

Yeah man, these have been around for a good while now. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I heard that Shaq was the original designer of these suckers

I think it was Latrell Sprewell from the New York Knicks that designed them, he has his own tuning shop call Sprewell Racing in Cali, Shaq is just another customer, most of his customers are celebrities.

Well, not quite. Davin Wheels (whom was mentioned earlier) actually designed the wheels. Sprewell was the first to actually own a set (before mass production) and showed them a while back on MTV on a special they had about his customizing business. Thus people started relating the rim to him and started called then "Sprewells" which led to the belief that he actually had something to do with the production which is false. There are other companies making lower priced knockoffs now. One of the more popular is SpinTech. There are other companies (as well as SpinTech) that sells a spinner hub atachment that attaches to various styles of rims (as long as they are deep dish.)

Yup Davin wheels set a world record for them. also they cost somethin lik $10,000USD for a set of four...if i had some..i would pimp them out
