Anyone know a good radiator repair / welding shop in the GTA for a 5-series?

Unless you are going to get them to build you a custom radiator, you are going to have a hard time finding a place to repair a BMW radiator.

The design of bonding plastic sides to the metal core is the number one cause of leaks on these things. More trouble than it's worth to repair really.

hairline crack around the rad hose for me, not around the plastic.

The most another radiator is going to cost you is about $100, just invest and get one in better condition the price to attempt to get it repaired will almost cost you about the same.

the oem rads as crappy as you think they are actually last a long time.

Dont buy a used rad.

Have one made or get an aftermarket with a lifetime warranty....about 350.00

350$ for a new rad? Charlie got me one a few years back for 200$ or so i think.

cant you just use a sealant and just plug the leak?? their like 5 bucks a ct

Magical, it clogs the heater core and eventually fails again
BARS is the worst because it is actually clay!!!

I have never had success with sealant.

kleen flo makes a block sealer but I woul'dnt use that either. I am having leaking problems now and I am trying to find the source instead of using that stuff. Its probably good enough for a cavalier with 300000 kms but not for a BMW. They deserve better...lol
