Is this the same car you're trying to sell? Anyhow, where are you trying to upload the pictures from? It wouldn't work if it's from your computer.

First upload the pictures onto a hosting site, like www.photobucket.com (you'll need to make an account) and once they are uploaded, you'll be able to copy and paste the [IMG] code when you post here.

You're trying to link to pics in your email.... email is private, you can't post from there.

Save the pics onto your computer, then upload them onto an image hosting site...

I tried to explain to artur that the 530 stands for:

5 series
3.0 Litter Inline Six engine

Likewise the 540 stands for:

5 series
4.0 Litter V8 engine

But he is not convinced. Can anyone concur so I get my $10

E34 530i is a V8. The little brother of the 540i.

E39 530i is a straight six.

Technically you are both right (wrong)

There were two 3.0 litre engines installed in the E34 although only the M60B30 (V8) was sold in North America. In Europe there was also an M30B30 3.0 litre big 6 available up to 1991.

So to answer your question you have a V8, but there is such a thing as a 3.0 litre inline 6. I've seen 2, both imported
