I'm sure it's a decent 15 foot paint job.
Did you leave the tires on when you stripped the clear off?
There is a bit of orange peel but not that much. But I assure you they look way better in person. I will maybe be able to show them off if I go to one of your meet.

The wheels were already all black, but a duller black. I used a Dupli-color metallic black. I also used clear as it was recommanded on the can. I masked the tires but I did not removed them. It's a quick fix for this summer.

I had some other wheels done by a professional for my DD last year, and of course the quality is not the same. But again, I have to remember myself is a 800$ car...and that I have a house...and a wife...and a baby...and a motorcycle...

I'll take all your comments as constructive!

Yes, everything was already blacked out. I did not want to sand everything and start from scratch.
And if I want to do something a bit more elegant, I will do it on 17". Not on some unknown, 20 years old, 15"!!!

they look better then stock rims. Not many people get closer then 10 ft from a car when they are checking it out, and depending on the camera and lighting pics can differ.

i'm sure they don't look bad from far, but that pic definitely doesn't do it for me..
They were already painted black.
Too bad they don't float your boat. But that's ok, they will be on my car!

Nah they aren't. But they are 2 piece, so the bolts are real. Its like an RM, outside barrel, and center+inner barrel being the second piece.
