Thumbs up Karwerkz E46 M3 Blisters the Track at MFest 3 (Race Footage)

Congrats to Oscar Tevizo (owner of Karwerkz), Evo (his driver) and his amazing Asuka Design Widebody M3. For anyone that had doubts about what the E46 M3 could do with a turbocharger on the track, click the videos below to find out just how well the Karwerkz M3 did against the competition in the advanced group at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch for MFest 3.

The Karwerkz M3 retains all factory internals, and runs the same HPF stage 1 turbo system that everyone else runs. They ran the car on the race fuel setting with 112 octane fuel. Oscar removed the interior, added a custom roll cage, Enkreuz Wheels, K-Sport suspension and K-Sport brakes. They also ran DOT approved race tires and retained the factory oil cooler and factory radiator.

The other turbocharged M3's (Ray's stage 2, Brian's stage 2.5 and the HPF stage 4) were very fast at the track, and none of them had any overheating issues, in fact, the needles didn't even go past the half way mark on any of the HPF cars.

The Karwerkz M3 was the fastest of the bunch as it was designed strictly for road racing. It utilizes the factory high compression engine (instantaneous spool), HPF stage 1 turbo system, HPF subframe reinforcement, was lightened by removing much of the interior, and ran very sticky tires. However... this is their first outing, and after they upgrade the sway bars, add in the HPF speed based boost control and HPF traction control, and dial in the suspension, several in the industry feel they have a serious Time Attack car in their hands.

Great job guys, and it was a pleasure watching the car go around the track!!

Chris.

insane! I love the stuff you guys do
where do I sign up... for a job at HPF lol

I'd definitely like to see this car in time attack. A professionally produced HD video of the car in action would be sick too

Awesome job Chris, nice to see these cars able to "stretch their legs" without worry of Police presence! Stage-1 is plenty for a track beast.

Thanks. We would definitely like a professional produced HD video. We're giving a bunch of vids away at Bimmerfest on Saturday.
