Are there any plans of ever finding another lot for this event?

Yes, there are plans... just find the proper sized lot with permission to do a timed motorsport event, and we'll move! Easy as that.

Good turn out for first event of the season. Difficult, yet challenging course. I'll post up the GoPro vid I took tonight.

Just for a larger lot for a faster or longer course. The current lot can be pretty fun, but the configuration options are limited. That said the guys setting up the course do a good job of adding some variety every now and then.

Gotcha. What is the limit to what members are willing to drive??? I know a couple of possible locations but it may be too far for people to drive. One is in Barrie for example??? I'd go, but not sure if anyone else would want to play ball up there? It's an hour drive for me, and believe me, on a Sunday morning, the last thing I would like to do is wake up extra early, but in the name of autocrossing..............IT'S WORTH IT. LOL.

The GO train station in Miltion also has a sizable parking lot. I know the corvette club does theirs at a GO train station as well (oakville or burlington)...

Then again we also try to do as much as we can with what we have available. The last event had the course running in about a 1:30s for most drivers with both a mix of higher speed and low speed sections. Nelson, you should come out to the next one!

I haven't been to an AutoX in over a year, until yesterday to spectate. If I may throw in my 2 cents... Just some comments for discussion

I don't mind the size of the lot. I mean, me personally, I would prefer a bigger lot, but thats not the worst part. I agree with Nelson though, this small lot does limit configurations slightly. But, what I did notice is that the lot looks pretty bumpy and rough compared to when I was there last (sometime in '07).

Also, maybe a suggestion, if some people would bring a industrial/heavy duty broom along and sweep the edges, I noticed your tires Tom, there sounded like they where driving on a dirt road towards the outside of the course in one spot LOL. I wouldn't mind bringing one if I do go to the next one and participate.

looked like winter debris (sand/gravel/salt) on the parking lot in one section... i think i did pick up most of it though... haha! By the next event it should be gone and cleaned up.

Anyways, just finished going through the results and they should be posted on the website shortly!
