So I wonder what he can do with a E24... I know these guys with one that needs to have more power by April's Mosport date... for some event in September...

Guess I better make the journey!

Anybody have the rule book, it doesn't work off the site.

Or is it the same as SCCA?

I'm looking into why that link doesn't work, but yes it's the same PAX system the SCCA uses. We will be changing it for next year, but for the rest of the season this is what we're using.

So that means no subwoofer in the trunk? And i'm a littler weiry about my tires, they don't have much tread but don't show cords.

haha alright. Well i'm taking my sub out anyways, it has to go into my winter car soon.

So since there is no tech inspection... technically there is no one to look under the hood so I can compete in the class with all the other e30's? haha

Too bad that it has never worked out for me to be in Toronto on a weekend when you have an Auto-X event on. I really would like to compete with some bmw's for a change as I hardly ever see any other bimmers at the Ontario Regional Auto-X Series.
I would go to one of your events if they would be a full day (and on a bigger lot), but driving from Ottawa to Toronto for a half day event is a little too much.

Otoh, you guys should go out to some CASC Regional Auto-X events and compete on a different level, where 80 or more cars usually show up, it's a lot of fun and very educational. The only one that I have seen a couple of times is Randy ... last time it was at the Picton Airfield, where we had the longest and probably the fastest Auto-X course in Canada ... ever!

Hope to see more bmw's at other events next year ... these cars can be quite competitive .... so I am told

Sorry I don't have time to figure that out but what do you expect when you only have 1/2 of a real chip?

Make sure that your TPS is working correctly. There are two independant switches in there and one should be closed at IDLE, the other closes at around 70% to 80% of full gas pedal travel. You need an ohm meter to test it.

Nov 1st will be an all day event, one track morning one in the afternoon. Its hard for us to hit other events cause the club has 4 to 6 performance driving schools at Mosport. Next year the Trillium club autocrosses will undergo a few changes and much more interesting.... The trillium club does allow any car to participate in the autocross, not just BMW's and is growing quickly and will be very busy next year.

Also on top of the autocross on the 18th we are having a members meeting and there is the fall E30 meet, that makes it a full day, since I see you have an E30, you should come out!!!1

^^ Hey Klaus, X2, since both of the next days, are full days, it will be worth the drive. We've got a bunch of guys coming from London for the 18th! I realize, not as far as Ottawa, but still far enough!
