eletric fan wiring

im going to take out my clutch fan and im going to use my auxillary fan as the electric equivalent. Just wondered if anyone has done this and the wiring they did.

Stock wiring works. 100%.

Just get a lower temp switch so the fan kicks in earlier.

putting in a switch to turn it on manually incase the temp switch fails is always a good idea.

Everyone's e30 has one - the A/C switch that works well, unless you actually have A/C...

exactly! no reson for a switch backup thats wasted time as the stock setup works perfect as e30_kid said before and i can say the same temp. switch never faild

working a/c in an E30.... most a/c systems are dead weight lol

depending on what kinda run down e30's you are looking at
but at most E30's i seen they work verry well

mine was working when I got the car...but I don't use a/c prefer windows down and sunroof open...so I took the whole system outa the car, probley dropped about 60lbs of weight off the car doing this

why would anybody take a working ac system out off the car?
even with a engine change i always updated to a AC
but i think reson is that most ppl dont wanne pay to refill or update there ac system

and to the wheight point off view are you driving a race car ?? where you need to have the wheight down

i never used the ac, windows all the way,

and pretty sure its broken. and im makeing a street race car, why keep it in if your not useing it

agreed will see how it goes but i will probably end up taking the system out...i never use a/c
