First time at the drag strip: 14.3 @ 97 in the hatch.

Went to TMP with my Honda buddies yesterday, decided to run my little winter sleeper for fun. First time ever doing this and the first time at a drag strip at all, jumped in feet first and had a blast.

Car: 318Ti w/ M52B28 swap, 3.73LSD, stock everything.

Here's a pic of my pair of runs (car 682). Consistency is key!

Nice times and damn, those numbers are close on both runs. I should have gone just to see what the 330 can do. Ah well.

^sick times! you can get even better if you bring down the 60' time too! (still a good 60 footer)

Anuk my best time with my bros car was 14.7 but a terrrribly slipping clutch and 60' time of 2.4! so should be capable of 14.3's... gotta try this summer with the m5 clutch + ltw flywheel!

Forgot to mention I was running my winter wheels, so 205/55/16 Continental all-season crap was mounted. Hence the 60' time.

If I had actual traction, this is a 13.9 car. I was chirping into 4th (apparently the announcer was really entertained by this).

Get your 60's in the 1.9 range and there's a 13sec time slip waiting.

Low 14's is very respectable. In comparison, my Dodge Magnum with a Hemi ran 14.5.

Not bad for the winter sleeper. Care for a rematch: Battle of the Beaters: your TI-edition vs. the 7?

You gotta work on those 60-foots and to do that you need dampers that are not blown.

Hey now, my rear shocks are brand new! I tried though, there's just no way I could get the 60' under 2.1 with those 205 grocery getters.

Battle of the beaters sounds awesome. Hell we should have lined it up with the Genesis last night.

Yeah, stock diff with this motor is a 2.93. So it's, um, short.

Oh yea I just figured it was squatting too much or hopping. You do a huge John Force-style burnout? LOL.
