audi corrosion warranty

So my 1998 audi a4 has some progressing rust on the back passenger quarter panel (bubbling covering 3 inches or so) and considering its a 98 with a build date of july of 98 then as i see it i should still be covered under the 12 year unlimited km audi corrosion warranty. Anyone done this before? I have heard of some dealerships giving people the runaround and some just straight up honoring it.

Audi of oakville is the closest audi dealership to me, however this would be my first time taking it in for "servicing", are the service guys there general good in terms of pushing for my car to be covered or are they likely to beat around the bush?

^^be firm, you can probably get them to do it. The dealership makes money on this (they get re-imbursed by audi of NA, and make a profit on the work done).

I'm pretty sure the build date is not an issue, they use the 1st day on the road as the starting point for the Audi corrosion warranty, may be another point in your favor.
