Which summer tires are best

I hope this isn’t completely inappropriate, but I thought you could help me out.

I’m looking for a set of summer tires for our Mazda 3 sport; it’s a daily driver unlike the 325vert. I’m looking for dedicated performance tires as I run winters. Nothing crazy that’ll wear off over 40,000km , but something with appeal, as this car despite its short comings (its not a BMW) can actually handle fairly well. Anyway, I was looking at the following tires and would love to see the groups reaction or other suggestions.

General exclaims (these are on my 325Vert, they rock, great tire rack rating)
Yoko S drive or avid v4s ( I also liked these on our Maxima)
Perelli P zeros
Kumho ecstas
Maybe Falkins or Fusions

Nexen 3000 perhaps? Don't know if they're any good. I liked my Goodyear GSD3

I just got amazing deal on Michelin PS2 for my 325. Can't wait to try them.

Sorry, just bought the wheels with GSD3's on them from someone else used last year. I got quotes recently for 225 45 17 at $263 and 245 40 17 for $296 tire.

Had my Michelin PS2 for a week now, and they are a dream.
