Car trouble
hey guys i have a problem. I have a 2006 330i that i purchased not to long ago. I went to go turn it on and it wont start. I put the key in, the radio turns on but when I go to turn on the car it struggled (there's is gas in the car ). Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be grateful. Thanks

did you push the clutch down? lol jk
I've never expereinced a starting problem on my E93... but someone on www.e90post.com might have!
regardless, your best bet would be to bring it to the dealer, you should have new car warranty until some time next year (depending on original in-serv date) ... make sure you tend to every little problem you are experiencing when it is still covered... it will save you a lot of $$$ if the repairs are courtesy of BMW Warranty

Best bang for you buck has to be the chip. The Procede V2 or whatever is nuts.

+1 on the diff... I didn't even think about that mod!
...what i did think about was why the ^#@! they would give a 300 hp/300 ft. lb. car an open diff... G-H-E-Y.

i know. I spent 1K on my 3.38 for the e36, and i thought that was steep. The cheapest one i've seen for 335 is like 3K. Ouch.
I'd probably get one with shorter gearing while you're at it. 3.46 or something mabye. Stock is 3.08 afaik, so with a 3.46 you'll be putting down 12% more torque to both wheels. Combine that with software and mabye a wee extra boost, and that will be one fun vert.
How do the e93's feel? I haven't driven the new verts, i know with e46 and even more-so e36, the lack of b-pillars and a roof make the whole car feel a lot less stiff. I wouldn't want to drive one of those with 450 ft/lbs of torque without some structural reenforcement.

eww... $3,000 is was too much to be able to do a sick donut. I'm definitely not going anywhere near that mod for the while!
But sadly, due to living in piece-o-shit Canada its been too cold to actually make any real use of the top (I've put the roof down and closed it to show people how it worked.... ooooooh aaaaah LOL)... but overall the car feels solid. it has zero wind noise (omg, my 325 was a mess with that), and feels like the coupes i test drove before driving the vert... so we'll see when i start dropping the top how it goes... to be continued... lol

lots of choices...proceed v3, jb3, are the biggest right now (around 500+ used). you plug em directly to the ecu (30+ min installation time w/ gains of 80+whp). sstt, jb+ (~$300) are plugged into the tmap sensor (5+ min installation time w/ gains of around 40). shiv (proceed) is coming out with their own tmap chip* soon.
have you tried a proceed v3 in a 335 yet?

I'd get the V3 chip Stephanie, a friend in Orlando has it, and his car is noticeably much much quicker.
Not even too expensive either!
