Feeler: 1991 318is 24v swap

Alright, lets try this.

This is a feeler, if I get the right amount of money I'll sell it.

1991 318is with a Non-Vanos M50B25 out of a E36 325i

Mods:
-Braided stainless lines
-Brembo blank rotors
-PBR MetalMaster pads all with about 3000km on them
-4.10LSD with Amsoil Severe gear 75w-90
-Getrag 240 tranny with Amsoil 75w-90 Performance fluid
-11.8lbs single mass flywheel (was 19lbs)
-Sachs clutch disk
-Sachs Pressure plate
-Z3 1.9 short shift
-Stainless long tube headers to a dual exhaust all the way back.
-Electric fan
-Cone filter
-Ireland engineering polyurethane rear subframe bushings
-Tokico rear shocks

The good:
-Car has a solid underbody, no severe rust or holes
-Vinyl sport seats which are flawless except for 1 small spot on the driver seat bolster.
-All of the electronics work
-It has keyless entry
-Rockers are mint
-Has the subframe out of a 95 318ti
-Pretty much everything works
-All the usual rot spots don't exist except for the exception of the to be mentioned

The Bad:
-The front fenders have the dreaded e30 rot BUT it's not into the actual structure of the car, it's just on the fenders. Easily replaceable
-1 inch by 1 inch rust spot on the back under the tail light
-The driver side door was hit and dented, it was pushed out but is still visable from up close.
-The steering rack took a shit and needs replacement
-It needs a muffler which by the time someone comes to actually look at it, it will probably have.
-Needs front shocks.
- The paint is faded, it needs a good polishing, I did the trunk and it came out pretty well.

Overall the car is good, it needs some TLC but has lots of potential. I'm selling it because I don't have the time or money for it, I put countless hours into this car, more then I care to think of. It's not the cleanest swap, but it's done pretty well in my opinion just needs some love. The car does move pretty quickly though, people are surprised at it.

Pictures:

The car needs the wiring cover put on, I haven't gotten around to it.

I'm looking for $3500 OBO. I'll take any offer into consideration, I know it seems a little high, I don't even know what swapped cars go for, I just added everything up and came up with a number. I'll also trades into consideration, E36's or a Sport bike, preferably CBR, R6, GSXR. I know it's a long shot but might as well try, I might be able to throw in cash given the offer.

WOW after all your work....but your selling it for school money which is respectful, your heads in the right place to pay for school, but wow thats alot of work you put in to sell it already! Bring it to the Durham meet this weekend so people can see it b4 you sell it, someone might see it there and like it and grab it.

No, it has somewhere between 100-200k on the engine. I did the valve cover, intake manifold and oil pan gaskets.

Hey guys, I've come to the conclusion that I can't keep the car anymore due to financial reasons. If someone gives me a serious reasonable offer they can have the car.

PM me if you're interested.

wow, this is a great deal, it's cheaper than what I just paid for a similar car.
