Cops becoming tighter...

http://www.pulse24.com/News/Top_Stor...6-003/page.asp

Check out this article about speeding. I seriously cannot believe what that cops are doing this year. I think it's a little overboard.

And you know the old saying, "driving at the speed limit all the time isn't always the safest way!"

What are your views towards this?

pisses me off... I dont even feel like elaborating. I vented on it yesterday. I'll say this though, I don't know how they go from considering bumping the limit to 120 to becoming such dicks on doing 100.

Don't believe EVERYTHING you see or hear in the news. Well to be on the safe side lets see how things go. Keep 'em around 110km/h (damn I hate going under 115km/h even in my 30 year old 2002! LOL!) Probably a scare tactic to slow people down, but watch out for those unannouced speed trap blitzes they are doing this year!

I have no comment on that issue, if they are going to bust me for going 105 I might as well have fun and go 205, looks like I'm going get another dozen speeding tickets this year.

Guys whats the big deal, just dont speed. I always drive like 10 over and never have problems. People will start to think you have the type of sweet ride that can go really fast, but your too cool to hehehe

Anyway, if u wanna drive fast just go up north or, or take it to the track, I dont see why this is such a big deal.

You guys complain that the cops are a$$holes, but if your getting robbed or when you need their help, you would run to them in a second.

Not to preach on you guys - but what does the speed limit have to do with fun? You're not racing on public roads are you?

Granted it is annoying to have to drive at 100 when your car hits 140 and you don't even know it! However even if they did raise the limit to 130 I suspect most of us would then drive 150!

Cops are after the ricers, not us...
I wouldn't worry too much. It's just a "scare" tactic.

The government should fix these damn potholes and raise the speedlimit to 120kph. If the roads were smoother, then there would be less people loosing control.
It's not *all* about speed.
