New here and have a few questions

Hi everyone great site i have just bought my wife a 2000 540I sport pkg and have afew questions first whats the best oil to run in it. second question the dirt bag we purchased it from failed to tell us about the reverse problem until we drove the car 2 hrs home and went to put it in reverse. It slipped and when we put our foot on the gas, there was a hesitation before it suddenly kicked into gear.
I have read that Toronto Automatic transmission is the place to go can any one send me a pm of there experience there and also the cost to repair .
All the drive gears seem fine except when you come to a stop sign and it gears down - seems too quick.

Toronot automatic trans. My dad rebuilds trannsmissions their, can't go wrong with the shop that rebuilds for the dealers. good shop very professional to deal with. 416-366-1345 Bob is the owner,

for oil I recommand Mobile 1 0W-40 or Lubro-Moly 5W-40

I'm doing alright, I've been going to the meets the past few weeks, but not many are showing, guess it's still kinda cold for some, last nights meet consist of 2 E39's, 2 E36's and 1 MB C-Class

Thanks for the e-mail back i have been told this by a few people now this is the place to go i will look into this any idea on cost also do you no anthing about a recall for the rear end on this cars .
