Hey guys I just recently picked up a E30 convertible the car is currently white but needs a paint job was thinking of going black but dont know for sure any suggestion ?
i was thinking about black with my car but is extremly hard to keep clean, i am going with blue with my car sorda like the subaru blue colour. but still blue is hard to keep clean. everybody has red so don't go there also prob would cost a bit more to paint it red. depends on how much time you have to keep your car clean
Iam in the same boat..white e30 vert and i want to change the color...iam thinking between techno violet, estoril blue, black metallic or some very dark blue.

Yah i agree with you dark colours are harder to clean especially black. And yah everyone does have red that didn't cross my mind once. I think the subaru blue is a solid color if i where you id go for it
Oh and as for pink i don't think my girlfriend would even like haha
Keep it white it's a summer car and complete colour change means stripping down the car to look right under hood and inner doors won't match. Try adding a subtle stripe package or custom stripes again subtle in the M colours (blue red violet) Google images bmw e30 look any of the white cars and the kind of complimentary stripes or custom painted add ons.

heres some pics of the many i got on my cpu from looking myself. the first pic with the wheels pasted on and poorly drawn body kit would be what my car WOULD look like with my body kit and all. met/black
all the others are just cool and gave me ideas

Go to Performance Bmw the magazines website look at the wallpaper there's a white e30 m3 racer has Warsteiner written across the hood. Picture the car without all the advertisements just the white body and the added blue red and violet stripes across the car front driver fender to reappear going down the rear passenger side (convertible no roof, stripes disappear). Just a thought but good luck.
Tough call.... I had the same dilemma when I got mine done, but in the end I'm happy with what I got. It's all a matter of taste so go with what makes you happy.
