they're perfectly safe, both qimis used them and i just ordered a set..
but you cannot get adapters that go from 4x100 to 5x120!!

From what I understand, that's because the 4x100 and 5x120 patterns are too close to overlapping.
It might be possible to do it with a two-piece adapter, but then you're looking at something that's probably 30mm thick minimum.

exactly.
if you want to order adapters,
make yourself an account on vwvortex.com
pm Matt Crooke (that's his username too)
he makes custom adapters and spacers.

I wouldn't mind getting a set as well for my 84 325 since I have a set of m3 wheels that I had on my e34 that would look cool on my 325

Unless the offset is over 40mm, i wouldn't do it.
Thats the only reason why i ordered a set -- because my BBS RS's are in 5x130 and the offset is 49mm.
If you get two-piece adapters (which I'm not sure exactly how they'd work), they'd be really expensive because its like your paying for 2 sets of 4 adapters, so the holes wouldn't overlap.
Not to mention that the adapters have to be a minimum of 15mm x2 (for the 2-pieces)
so you're looking at 30mm adapters, which will give you an offset of -5mm if you have the common e30 offset of 25mm.

Don't go the conversion rout unless you've got your heart set on really unique 5x120 rims.
otherwise look for Ronal weaves or BBS RZ378 thats what I'm running and they're SWEET!!!!!!

If you want RZ378's, PM euro3 on r3vlimited.com. David got me my set.
Also, browse that site. You have no idea how many wheel options you have 4x100.

Well do you prefer to spend your money on a 5lug swap and gamle with bent wheels at cheap thrills or buy a decent set of 4x100 wheels?
