Making an Exhaust?

Hey all

i was looking at buying an exhaust, but one of my roomies suggested finding a muffer and tips then get a shop to do the piping, apparently that would work and be pretty cheap. Has anyone done this? If so where?

Search for "custom quad exhaust" on e46fanatics, you'll find pics, specs, lots of info, it can be done for quite a bit less than say Borla or UUC.

DPE Wheels, H&R Cupkit, M3 Interior...too many mods to list.

E46fanatics has an awesome thread on how to make your own exhaust!

EDIT: Mikeee46Coupe beat me to it.
