Thumbs up Planning a move to Arizona

Most likely after this summer, I will be leaving to move down to Phoenix Arizona.
The factors that made my decision were: the warm, sunny 365 days a year climate, cost of living, and a place to stay.
Hopefully, I can find a good sales job down there.
Now I can drive my M3 all year 'round !
Bimmer meets will happen every month down there ! haha

Has anyone ever been down there ? All I hear are great things about Arizona.

Phoenix at nite:

Rob...

Before you move down there, do your research... It may not be as easy you think to get a well paying job in the USA... Geting a work permit will be a pain in the butt!

What about your job at honda?
WHat about your family?
What about you friends?

Oh wait, I forgot you have no friends ... j/j

Good luck, but try and get a work visa.. it may be difficult post 9/11.

Because my father lives in Honolulu I have dual U.S. / Canada status but have chosen against living in the U.S.

Arizona has a wicked climate but I think maybe you should consider Dallas. Great economy and the girls are the best there compared to any other U.S. city!

If you got offered a job, that's a different story.... help me out here... i wanna move to Huntington Beach California, where my family grew up, and almost my whole family on my moms side is there, buttttt i don't think i can because i'am not a citizen a US citizen

Let me know though, and in a few years, BYE BYE CANADA!!! no more snow and cold!!!

hey rob..

1- i would never live in the usa cause i hate it but phoenix is sick, that would be on my top 3 list if i had to live in the states

2- like miguel said, dont fguck around with cops, they are tanks and like to beat people...

3- i think you gotta try getting you visa and green card and citizenship now, before the summer...itll be easier because all the kids going to university from canada will be doing that shit in the summer

Dallas for me is a no! The humidity is way too much! You think it gets bad here in the summer.... it's even worse there!

I was living down in California for a bit over a year back in 99... working out of my Napa Valley office. You definitely need a work visa.... not as easy just to jump on a plane and go.

MatyBMW- if you have dual citizenship, I've read in the paper that you have to register with the US military for a possible draft!!!!

To all wishing to have a job in the US...

First you have to get the job first inorder to move down there legaly.
You can always move down there and work for cash and be an illegal alien!
So you got a job offer, now you have to deal with US imigration. First you have to have a degree or atleast 3 year work experience. Second the must not be no one that is an US citizen aplying for the job.

It's tuff getting a job in the states if your Canadian...

OOOOOk... relax!

Arizona is cool Rob you will enjoy it... it is an up coming city! Be careful, don't be a typical Whop ( I am one, i can say that) and run your mouth, b/c there you have to back it up with a .45... trust me I lived in Carolina for 6 years. Especially driving... you piss someone off.. let it go or have a pistola on you, cuz chances are the other guy has one... if you see that infamous rach down under the seat... starting sh*ting your pants! :d

Second.... you will see how F'ed up Canadians and the way they do business and think is... no SOLCIAL programs down there. Your voice ACTUALLY means somehting and your $ is REALLY your $.

Third ...
I am not sure about Arizona, but I know in Carolina that there are no other cultures besides White/Black, and Mexican. So if you want good european food.. look for italianChineese/Greek/ or anything else made by REDNECKS!

Do you smoke? If you do.... quit, because yo are going to smoke and dipp... seriously...be prepared to try DIPP and puke... don't worry everyone does there 1st time! ( trick .... take a small pinch)

What else.... hmmmmm... well send $50 to my PO BOX for the info packet!

hahahaha!!

later and we will see how much of a man you really are!

(i give him 0.5-1 year max before he cries and runs back!)

Mike.

Jeorge, I am registered, I could be drafted to fight for the U.S.

The way I stand politically, I would fight for the Western world. My opinion is, its not just a problem for the U.S., but a problem for any country where people live lifestyles like our's.

Not just a problem for the U.S!
