if you're on bell DSL, and you've been a customer for a while, odds are you're on 4meg, ask them to bump you to 7meg. (I can hit about 750-800kb/s down)

Jim, how you getting around throttling? MLPPOE?

private tracker. Standard settings - dmz, high port, encrypted headers and Rogers Extreme

Damn man! good work!

A DIY giude/write up would be awesome! I'd really appreciate it! I'm also using Rogers at home

A few months ago, I was happy getting 700+ KB/s through bitcomet without port forwarded.

Then recently it went down to 100kb/s and less. I forwarded to a high port, and my I.P address somehow changed overnight, and now I'm only getting 200 kb/s max.

This sucks, why pay for highspeed internet if they're throttling my favourite downloads!

I'm almost considering switching to Teksavvy, and downgrading my speed a bit from Rogers.

I don't do anything, I just used a high port, and I don't think I'm throttled.

Anyone on Rogers network found that limewire stopped connecting? I believe they blocked the ports but maybe its just my router.
