all that said it was bad parenting that causes it, are definitely right. However, this kid actually has some serious mental issues, he came from a school that focuses on kids who have issues, and he was from Juvi before. So the kid has problems. He's going to be tried as a Juvenile again, and because the US has a tougher system, he'll be locked up until he's 18, possibly 21. The lady actually being beaten on was able to call 911 actually as she was getting punched.

I think executions need to be brought back for 100% identifiable cases of vicious violence or murder (for example, video evidence). There are cameras everywhere now and if people knew they'd get executed, they wouldn't be so "tough", and **** lifetime jail, what's the point??

Bad parenting? Try no parenting. It's the ****ing media, it's rap. All of these kids think they're so hardcore. I was at a party last night, skaters/rocker and gangster kids. Guess what.. all the ****ing gangster kids decided to start beating on each other. I doubt that all 100+ gangster kids grew up with bad parenting.

I think many factors play a part in it. Parenting, or lack there of, is definitely one factor and then ofcourse the influence of media and lastly, the kid just being ****ed up. I grew up in a household where my brother and I were pretty free to do what we wanted, however, when we stepped out of line (bad grades in school, getting in trouble, etc) we got a beating. Nothing tough or anything, just enough to let us know that we shouldn't be **** ups lol.

With that being said, media seems to have a huge influence on kids these days. I don't understand why either. I grew up listening to hip hop and all that but at the end of the day, I knew I was no gangster lol. I had friends who were and still are drug dealers and even they don't try to be gangster or draw negative attention on themselves.

Bottom line, like many of you have already stated, kids like this need a rude awakening. It's just a matter of time until they get some sense knocked into them, literally.
