How to install spoiler
Hi
I have a factory truck spoiler that I want to install. Does anyone has a patern or a diagram showing where I need to drill the holes in the truck to attach it?
Thanks
Epsilon

3M tape? lol
What kind of spoiler is it? There were a few different OEM spoilers for e30s.

doesnt matter what spoiler it is lol....what i would do is put a couple of rows of tape along where the bolts from the spoiler sit. Then gently sit the spoiler where you want it to sit. Mark around the bolts with a permanent marker onto the tape. You drill in the middle of where your mark is, drill all the holes, put the spoiler on and tighten a bitch down.

Hey Matty, yes I understood what you meant. It's was a simple, logical way to do it.
But I think the specs that Sam provided should ease my pain a lot..

That diagram look slike someone drew it free hand. It just looks wierd.
Just use 3M tape as mentioned. Why drill holes in your metal

I tried the diagram and the tape methods. A combination of both will ensure you don't "miss".
After you drill, get some of that touch up paint in the little jar with the brush on the lid, any color, and paint the bare metal. Let that dry THOROUGHLY BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE SPOILER unless you love rust traveling under the paint and ruining your trunk.
