My clock just stopped... wtf???

hi guys

My car clock just stopped. wtf is wrong with my car clock??

I just got a new wallet key from the dealership and I started the engine with it. Maybe transponder error?? I don't know if the clock has something to do with the transponder since temperature adjustment does.

Anybody had a same problem??

Well like most componets in BMW they are connected through something else

So your clock is probably some how wired to your thermostat, that will trip the MAF sensor, that will cause the engine to jerk, you will open her up thinking its the plugs, turns out that your speed sensor is gone. You replace the speed sensor and clock still not working, turns out that your O2 sensor was ****ed and thats why the clock stopped.

Welcome to BMW

If the battery was disconnected he wouldn't even see the clock, the clock is digital. He disconnected it after seeing that it froze. The last BMW's that came with analog clocks were E32, E34 and E30.
