ups Vs. USPS

Guys, I'm looking to purchase an item from newyork. Shipping via ups is 30usd , ans shipping VIa USPS is 40usd. Anybody know how much the broker fees would be to Toronto? The item is only 50 bucks, but I don't want to end up paying crazy cash to buy a 50 item.

USPS is the best way. Canada post will charge you taxes, and $5 brokerage.

UPS will cost you around $150 depending if the item was made in the US or not.

If you can, always always use USPS!!!

Spend $10 extra now, and you'll save a lot more once the package arrives.

Yup - stay well clear of UPS. They'll kill you with the COD charges once it arrives.

Agreed, USPS ftw. But, I say this mainly because UPS seems to be hit and miss for extra charges. Sometimes I've paid nothing on $100 items via ups.

Another vote for USPS. Tell the shipper to put the value as $20 and write GIFT. this will ensure you to have no duty fees.
