Red face Just took a look at a 1971 Volvo 1800E

Just went to take a look at it.... very nice car. 72,000 miles.... pretty good condition.... damn I'm seriously thinking about it. Is there anywhere in Toronto where they specialize in older Volvo's so that I can get this thing checked out?

No clue to where to get it serviced up there, but my mechanic in Thorold works on alot of older cars.

BTW - Cool car! Here is a link you might like if you don't have it already... http://volvo1800pictures.com/

Serious, that thing is beautiful. Mike, you think YOUR waggon looks like a milk carton? My mom's volvo is practically brown (CHOCOLATE MILK!)

LOL,

So true Julian, j/k...

The new V70 R AWD looks very interesting though. It's such a work of BOX j/k

I really like it though, 300HP, AWD w/the option of 6spd manual tranny? Gotta love taking it for a spin in the snow
We'll shoot a video of me drifting and groceries bags filled flying out of the trunk when I kick the tail out.

The best indy Volvo shop is Jolex Auto they're around Kennedy and Ellesmere. The motors are very stout and can make a streetable 160 hp with a couple thousand spent. If you want a general idea of parts etc. check out IPD USA

A good place for general information is the BrickBoard

My winter beater's a 1989 Volvo 760 turbo running between 14 and 16 pounds.
