quick question about car registration

i bought a car in september of last year, and i plan on getting it insured next month.
now my problem is, from what i've heard and please correct me if i'm wrong, that i have six days to register a car from the date of purchase.

i have not done that yet and it's been almost 6 months now.

so my question is, what happens now, do i have to pay a fee or something for not registering it within the 6-day time frame?

thanks,
kris

No fee at all, tell them you lost the slip so you couldn't transfer it. they charge you for a new ownership and make you fill out a form. 10 bucks. but whatevs.

if the ownership wasn't dated (the original signed one) just take it in and go. If the date happened to 'be written wrong' and you fix it with the same colour pen I'm sure it would work too (as if you just bought it a few days ago)

PM me for your sidewinder (laser cut) key blank and cutting needs. Have OEM pre-ews keys and replacement shells. Can do (almost) all BMWs up to 2008!
