Rims, rims, and more rims...

Hi:

When I first bought my BMW last December (a Certified 2000 328CI), I figured leaving it bone stock. This, after a year of messing severely with my Civic Coupe Si (now my wife's).

As you know, the Civic upgrades are numerous and fairly cheap. Rims, especially.

I have 16 inch BMW 43s. Want at least 17s, maybe 18s. The prices are very expensive for new, both BMW and Hamann. So, anyone know where there is a good place to buy either used or a place that has the best new prices? What do you guys think of the knockoffs?

Also, with 18s, will I rub? No drop on the car now or in the future.

For reference, I very much like 44s, 96s (?), and the Hamann HM2 18s.

Apologies for the rambling post, but I'm very new to the BMW and am getting excited at the prospect of driving the thing with no snow. The 16 43s are just not going to make the grade.

Thanks for all direction, suggestions, hook ups, etc...

if you dont mind, why dont you search from some slightly used rims??

you can probably pick up a set with tires for a lot cheaper than buying new

try roadfly or the for sale section here

tunerworks has hamann 18"s for 550 or something each
