Saturn to be dead as soon as this week?
http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f...ly-dead-75492/
interesting. Too bad IMO, Saturn was really making some awesome cars in the last few years. A few models, including the VUE, used Honda engines! Saturn was GM's only good product lately.

GM probably made enough extra parts to keep those cars running for 10+ years.
The same happen to Daewoo when it went down - extra parts were bought off by part suppliers. In case if GM goes down, there will be plenty of parts, but no warranty unless somebody buys GM or part of it and becomes obligated to respect the warranty.

^ haha. I personally never cared for Saturn. My friend had a neighbour who bought a Saturn and went out of his way to write a warning on it and keep it parked on the street. The warning basically stated that you should never buy a saturn.

plastic piece of junk...
GM is thinking of filing bankruptcy for the whole company anyways. GM bought more than they could chew on. they should of sold Chrysler to Canada, at least we would of had a car company and it would have been better for our economy.

That's a shame. I like the newer stuff. The Vue, Astra and Aura are all quite nice for what they are.
Just as the brand starts coming into it's own and the product line has finally started to be competitive too.

Yea, finally GM decided to bring Opel in as Saturn. I really liked their designs. The new Insignia would have been a beautiful car as an Aura.

Let's all remember that the source here is a rumours website...
Not saying it's not true, but until the FACTS are in...
