Recovering Deleted Files

OK, so I accidentally converted a backup drive into a basic disc instead of reactivating it. So it pretty much wiped the whole partition in 1 second.



I haven't formatted the drive. I got me a program called R-Studio NTFS and R-Studio FAT. It can find all the lost files in the hard drive but now I have a second problem.



After I've recovered the files, none of the recovered files work. If it is an AVI file it is the right size, but when you try to play it, it doesn't work. Same thing with JPEG, excel and word files.



What do I do?
