Stock C6 Z06 run low 11's and upper 120's. The ZR1 comes with PS2 stock and those hook like mad so this ET and this trap are nothing special. I was expecting low 10's with traps in the mids to upper 130's on street tires. The car is fast however this driver in this run is not.

ZR700 needs some DR's u can hear the tire spin from 1st to 2nd that did not help .....

R/T doesn't matter unless you're in bracket racing. When you're doing just runs, it doesn't start until the beam is unbroken.

And you're right, he didn't launch it, coulda pick up a couple 1/10 if he did.

You obviously have never run down the track with 500+rwhp on street tires.

I have.

10's are extremely difficult to run on a street tire. You cannot launch the car at anything above idle, and you have to pedal your way through the first two gears, and granny shift. Actually, the more power you have, the harder it becomes. It takes alot of practice and a good track to hit a 10 on a street tire. Actually, of all the 500+rwhp Vettes I know, and some of them over 800+rwhp, no-one has hit a 10 on a drag radial, let alone a steet tire.

With traction, that car will hit mid 10's at mid to high 130's.

And that bone stock Z06 runing a 10.9@129mph doesn't sound right to me. I've seen several stock C6 Z's go down the track at Cayuga, and the best I've seen is 122mph. I can give a mph or two for good weather, but 129mph trap speed out of a bone stock C6 just doesn't 'add' up.

Very true. Yet I didn't mean to imply that a low 11's/upper 120's run by a stock everything C6 Z06 is commonplace as I'm sure it's a bit magical when you can semi squeeze it in 1st and 2rd and make it work for you as opposed to against you. Plus a high 120's trapper has got to be done on a factory lottery winner overachiever in ideal conditions at a fast track.
