Wrong. Insurance covers you for 14 (or 10?) days from date of purchase. This assumes that you already have insurance on another car of course

Avis has a deal for $19/day for the weekend.
(AWD # H501200 to take advantage of this offer.)
For me, Avis is unlimited mileage.
If you have a Visa or MC Gold card, rental insurance is covered.
I wouldn't risk it. Ottawa-Toronto stretch has a lot of cops (undercover).

hmmmm, a lot of undercover cops on thursday? I know they're out in numbers on friday, sat, and sun, but I didn't think thursday.

Make sure the car is on the policy. MAKE SURE IT IS INSURED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
plates dont matter, people dont understand. Its a 110$ ticket for improper plates. No insurance you can go to jail for, and get fined 5K for first offense.
no one will see your front plate at night with HID's.
Why not get a 10 day?

car is insured. The reason I don't rent or get a 10 day or whatever is that I'm super duper tight for money, I got a new job in toronto, but no relocation package, so I have to pay first and last on an apartment in toronto=2500, register my car=1600, paid rent for this month for my current apartment=750, pay uhaul-500, so I'm just trying to save wherever I can.

I'll never forget the unofficial midnight cruise. I still have a suntan from your foglights. Those planes you shot down were cool too.

if they pull u over for improper plates they can also impound the car. and from my last experience with the popo regarding this. they can also give u a $1,000 ticket and 2 points off ur license for something i forgot what he said but its not just the $110 ticket. if they wanna be assholes there were a few things they can charge u with.....also didn't they remove the 10day trip permit? now u gotta transfer the car then get a temp sticker. which is so stupid.

Wrong. Ivan they dont give those window temps anymore. Now you get a set of realy licence plates with a red sticker with a big black T on it. Thats how they did it when I bought my audi!
Jay
btw it's time for you to get some 100ballasts. I'm getting sick and tired of tailgaters!
