Now GM is going to miss its March dateline for a plan to save its ass from going down the tube and is asking for another 8+ Billion. There is also rumors of inside trading by GM brass but the government does not want to file charges to give a GM a chance to survive.

and now Ford's cash burn is worst than they thought and whispers are they need $10 billion to stay afloat.
What a wonderful country we live in where assh&*& CEO's pulls in billions in bonuses while the company dies.
Hong Kong is planning a strong plan to help the citizens survive the recession..cutting taxes, lowering property taxes, providing refund bonuses for car purchases.
And you know how Toronto City Hall helping the residence..raising property taxes by %3 and finding other methods to tax items and giving themselves and the union pigs a raise.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, this country is f'ing Bullshite.
Maybe one day, some of you guys can be the ones to steal those greedy Politician/CEO's jobs right from underneath them, and put an end to this Billion dollar bonus BS, and extreme high salaries while they're putting the countries/companies under.

Okay I've never seen billion dollar bonuses (unless you're counting in total from all the Fortune 500 companies and etc). I see million dollar bonuses, but that's precisely what the cause of this economic crisis is about. Greed is the root of all of this downfall, a select few have manipulated and abused this system of capitalism that has always thrived on the entrepreneur. There's another Bill Gates in the US somewhere, who just got laid off from his job, and he's going to come out strong and discover something incredible. We don't need a bailout. We need a free enterprise economy that is delivered by entrepreneurs, investments, reduced taxes (like what Bush did for the last 8 years), rebates, and other incentives so the consumer (the people who push the economy) can instigate the economy into some type of positive growth. Throwing money at banks, throwing money at corporations, bailout packages that deal with climate change, aren't going to do anything. We need to support education even more, and have the government spend more of taxpayer's money on instruments that are essential for the population to spend/grow, such as education and job innovation (bonuses for new products that are created by companies and the people, which is thus rewarded by the Canadian/US government).
Hell, I'm with the US even on rewarding the Pharmaceutical industry in rewarding them with little taxes on drug discoveries that become successful (Pfizer's R & D in 06 was $7.6 million US). Innovation is what America is based on, supported by consumerism, and to me, that's what's needed for America/Canada to arrive out of this recession. A bailout package that know one even knows whats contained is not going to deal with the issues. If this bailout package works, and the economy recovers, Obama has another 4 years. If it fails, and the economic woes deepen, a right wing Republican will be President again. Obama is rolling the dice on this one.

Look at these stats..USA malls are closing down in record numbers..I been doing a bit of shopping around Queen and Eatons and there is traffic but seems no one is buying.I know a sales guy at 2001 and he mentioned it been dead the last three weeks.
