Hi, my name's James.
I've already met a few of you at last week's M&M meet. Didn't notice this thread some how.

This is my first BMW and the one I've lusted after for generations.

I picked it up in March at this building:


This was my first view of my car after months of waiting, only a few more minutes to go:


It had 0.6km on the trip computer, and 0km on the ODO when I sat in it:


I made it ~150m before stopping to ogle some more:

LOL! I was thinking the same thing. That pic needs a caption like "Dad, I'm loving this car; good choice". Nice ride James!

Hey everyone been browsing this forum for a few weeks now. Seems like a very helpful group with some collectively decent knowledge. I am new to the BMW scene but definately not new to the automotive scene.
I was a auto mechanic for 2 years before joining the military as a military vehicle tech (HD) then after 5 years i reased and went back into automotive. First at honda (which made me sick seing all the tuners) but when i got the chance to work as a mechanic at Elite BMW i jumped on it. First week on the job i had an E46 M3 with SMG shifting problems under hard accel. so naturally i took it out for a beat down and well that was all it took, i fell head over heels for the fenoniminal experience that BMW's offer (Brings a whole new understanding of the letter M )

Anyways thats my history, i just recently purchased a winter beater e30 325i but i can leave anything alone so come spring there will be some changes.
I will definately be coming out to some meets and try and meet as many of you guys as possible, so til then

My name's Jared, been lurking here for a lonnnng long time but decided to join up. I had an 02 M3 coupe a few years ago which I sold to go back to school and cause out of warranty maintenance scared me, and now I have an 05 M3 vert. Don't know if it's been spotted around or not, I'm thinking not since it's only had ~5000km's put on this year... sometimes the car rolls on OEM 19's as well

I haven't really met any other bmw enthusiasts, actually I used to be big into subaru's and know a few of the ottawa guys, I haven't been to M&M since I was about 16 (10 years ago) because of all the foolish kids who attract unwanted attention.

Also in my stable is my e46 325i which see's daily and winter duty, and recently I just picked up a euro import e34 520i that I plan on bringing back to life as my new project...after the winter
