I have a friend of mine that bought a CPO M pack 03 330ci from an older dude that was getting divorced at the time. He got a car for 5k under street value as well as saved on taxes. To make it short, he ended up much better than going to the stealer. His car had 70k KM so some warranty was left over.
Questions:
-What to look at when buying 2-3 years older bimmer? Such as not fixed issues due to bad bmw service....
-Do I need to make sure that car is paid off in full so the bank does not come after me?
-How to make sure that I get the valid warranty when the ownership changes into my name.
-What else?
-Would it be better to to pay in full so I can remove comprehensive coverage during the winter upon storing the car? It could save me some coin and headache with crazy winter drivers/driving.
