Do tell...I can only fit a 15ft. though. Had I known, I would have built my deck with a pool in mind.

My buddy is selling his 15 ft. above ground but he wants 2500. I'm sure I can get new for that price.

Chromius: Congrats on the house. When the Home depot guys know your name, that's when you're in real trouble.

Jamil: Take your time, it's definitely a buyer's market. Get yourself a good agent and you'll be fine. I've got a great guy if you need one but doesn't everybody?

Amen to that. When I bought my place, I was blown away by how much cash I spent int he first couple of weeks on the little stuff. I felt like an ATM, spitting out 20s to strangers all day.

Yes, everyone seems to know a good agent. We've gone through 2 recommendations, and both have been pretty lousy. It might be because of the fact that we don't have a house to sell???

We found a house I liked, for a decent price, but the fiancee wasn't buying it. The bathroom space and closet space wasn't enough. The house had a huge garage and sat on an acre lot, I could have built her an outhouse and closet in the yard.

Really I'll be fine though, I was mostly just surprised at how quickly little things for the house can add up so damn quickly.
#1 congrats.

and it is crazy huh!? the (ex) wife & I found it to be the same when we finally got ours back in 03..

I guess its just a expensive pain we all gotta go through.
thankfully by buying it all to yourself you may be able to avoid other expensive pains in the future

*jamil i saw a single house on oreb near parkdale for $190K, just last night.
Only Problem: NO PARKING At All!!?!

Isn't it law that every house has at least 1 parking spot?

Thanks Adam.

You're absolutely right, it's definitely a pain we gotta go through at some point, the saving grace is that at least I know my money is going towards something I own, an investment as opposed to rent.
