Tack weld the deck onto the metal rack that it slides into.

Don't those decks have brains to them, so wouldn't just the screen be useless to the thief?

You're that lazy to not take the face in the house with you

You cannot take a flip out deck with you. There is NOTHING you can do.

If you make the deck hard to take by fastening it to the dash, they'll destroy EVERYTHING to get it out. Just leave it be. If you're that worried don't get a stupid fold out deck. They're just a waste of space anyways.

The best bet is really to keep a stock deck, and go with the "JBL Clean Sweap" product.

This way, you can get the aftermarket audio quality (via DSP), with the stock deck.
However, it wouldn't work if you want those flip out screens.

No one ever takes a stock deck anyway. If you remove the temptation, you're better off.

This is why I refuse to change my stock deck right now.

I love the fact no one wants it, including me.

The JL Clean Sweep system is really an investment if you love cars, and audio equipment.

You can move it from car to car and keep the stock deck, but improve your audio system in a "hidden" fashion.
