when you're drivers seat is flopped out and you're too cheap to repair it so you swap it with the passenger seat.

You think you have leather door cards when they are really only vinyl.

when you rear turn signal light is malfunctioning and you can stop at a light- get out and pound on it to fix the problem

You want to mod but repairs and other things come first.

Yeah modding is not applicable to all repairs, but it is for many, for example:
-if you need brakes upgrade to slotted/cross drilled rotors and better pads
-if you need new injectors upgrade to 19lb (then get a chip when you have the $)
-if you need a new afm get an M30 one
-if you need new shocks upgrade to something like billie sports with H&R springs
-if you're doing a valve adjustment paint the valve cover before you put it back on
-if you're rebuilding your shifter upgrade to Z3 1.9 shift lever and install a DSSR
-if you're replacing bushings use poly
.... the list goes on

These are great...how can almost everyone make me laugh because it applies!!

Here's a couple more:

-When your "power sunroof" is actually a power screwdriver with an allen key attachment

-When the inside of your car smells like gasoline instead of 'pine scent'
every time you fill up

-When your pulse quickens every time you see one driving, parked, or especially for sale or at the junkyard

+1

You know you drive an e30 when you have to unlock the passenger door, hop in, unlock the driver door from the inside, hop back out, close the passenger door, walk all the way around to the driver door just to open it.

You know you drive an e30 when you spend more money than the car's worth just to make the E30 BMW never did.

Anyone going to the downtown meet this aft?

You know you drive an e30 when you realize you can't afford to own it. And when that happens you know things are pretty sad.. LOL

Was nice meeting you today-- love the stock with a drop look of your e30 BMW never made. After joking about rear-tire wear I forgot to actually check what you were running... how do you make 14x6(.5?) wheels work for that beast?
