When it rains and your power door locks stop working, rendering your gas door locked.
(**** off, I know how to unlock it)

You know you drive an E30 when your sunroof will only crack open slightly because the cables are shot and in order to adjust the flushness with the roof you crack it open and jam something into the track that's the right height and then close the sunroof. The fix reveals great success but then you realize that your interior dome lights are now always on as a result of the sunroof fix...

No you've just forgotten about most of them cause you've only had the E30 out once or twice in the last year, wait till you sell the E36 and put it back on the road!!

How about, you know you drive an E30 when you spend over a year in a hick court with morons, win your appeal and still have to bail out. All costing more than your car is worth and more than you spent on repairs in that time. And still drive it hard.
